So you’ve climbed the mountain of job applications, taking each stage in your stride with our fantastic advice and service. We don’t want you tumbling down the other side so start right and your descent will be a breeze.

We suggest that half way through your period of notice you call and confirm the time and date for your first day. Make sure you know where you’re going and who you need to report to.

The night before this momentous day, ensure a full and refreshing night’s sleep. Reaffirming the positive approach you gave on interview is a paramount objective.

Second to this you must reiterate a smart and composed appearance. You’ll feel more confident and confirm to your new employer your professional and thoughtful approach to your work.

Arriving early will allow you to ease into your new surroundings and give you a standard from which to continue.

It’s important that you look to build bridges with your colleagues. By this you can develop a two-way support system and establish yourself well in your role. By integrating well in your team you’re more likely to produce effective results.

Your employer has taken you on to fulfil a role within their team. Make sure you know what your job requirements are and if any targets are expected of you. Communicate with your boss from day one so you are always aware of how you could be doing your job better and where you are excelling.
